Vacuum Cup Grippers

Can be used to pick up a wide range of objects, especially if they’re smooth, non-porous or flat.  Connect directly to external air lines.

Electric Parallel Grippers

Allow Sawyer to pick up rigid and semi-rigid objects of many shapes and sizes.  Interchangeable fingers and fingertips maximize flexibility.

Mobile Pedestal

Optional rolling pedestal with industrial grade casters makes it easy to move Sawyer quickly and safely between workstations.

         Sawyer incorporates force sensors on all axes and uses safety technology. The intensity sensor can respond to slight changes in external force to achieve anti-collision safety protection. In the event of an accidental contact, sawyer immediately reduces its speed, reducing its kinetic energy to the point where loss can be avoided. With intrinsically safe design, humans and robots can work together without the need for extensive safety precautions.

       The sawyer robot has seven degrees of freedom and can reach the target point through a variety of paths. The pose of the end tool can be combined in multiple axis positions.        sawyer robot with high precision. Wrist incorporates a Cognex lens for precision operation. Each joint incorporates a high-resolution force sensor that supports its compliance control, allowing Sawyer to find the position with "(feel)" even though the (picked-up) part or position is variable. This unique ability to operate repetitively is unique not only in the robotics industry, but also enables Sawyer to operate efficiently in semi-structured environments with error requirements within 0.1 mm.
